Welcome to the “Regional Academy for Young Entrepreneurs” (RAYE), a pioneer concept in the Middle-East, developed by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation and Berytech Technological Pole. It is a one-week program designed to enable aspiring entrepreneurs to thoroughly explore business opportunities in a practical way, thus, developing their potential and business culture.
The academy targets individuals from various backgrounds, from the Arab World, armed with a promising project looking to explore the entrepreneurship option and start their company.
RAYE will take place in Berytech, Lebanon, from November 16 to 20, 2009.
Through enlightening lectures, trainings and workshops guided by a dynamic team of instructors and experts, participants will learn what it takes to turn their ideas into feasible business opportunities. The one-week intensive program will be guided by a dynamic team of instructors and professionals with experience in entrepreneurship. Applicants will develop their entrepreneurial skills, creative thinking, leadership, and awareness of the latest tips in entrepreneurship by:
- Understanding the entrepreneur tool-kit
- Clarifying the business model behind their idea
- Preparing an adequate business plan
- Overcoming the obstacles for becoming an entrepreneur
- Sustaining their business and get financing
The RAYE teaching method is based on a multicultural and interactive approach. The participants, who meet from different countries, must develop their business proposal, under the supervision of a resource person, which they will present to a panel at the end of the program. Each project will benefit from the right professional feedback guiding it on the right business track.
